This impressive Cremant du Jura is no poor man's Champagne. This is a complex and serious sparkler that shows off it's calcareous terroir with its aromas of apple, pear, dried mango and spice notes. It is the scent of fresh proofed bread that delivers the wow factor for fans of yeastier styled bubbles. But not too yeasty! At 24 months on the lees, there is a lot of character here and with the very light dosage, it has a raciness to offset the richer palate profile.
