Reviewed July 2024The approachable 2021 Mataro offers a charming array of rhubarb, new leather and blackberry aromas with a gentle oak backbone. It then fills out nicely with chalky tannins and vibrant fruits of the forest flavors that are generous, appealing, open-knit and lengthy. The 2021 is made to enjoy over the medium term. (AH)
