Sourced from two vineyards in the far western reaches of the AVA, this wine combines both old vine and younger vine plantings for depth and complexity. It has textural presence on the palate whilst remaining as brisk and full of saline minerals as an ocean breeze. Native yeast fermentation, traditional long, slow elevage in French oak just 25% new the rest neutral. The wine shows wonderful golden stone fruit, ripe citrus, warm sourdough, baked pear and seashell mineral. A modest 12% alcohol means this wine is refreshing and very food friendly, great with fish tacos, lemon sole or a summer panzanella salad.
