The latest and last in the Extinct Blends Quartet, Celestial takes to the sky through billowing clouds and glittering constellations, inspired by a whisky from the 1960s with both an extravagant flavor profile and an equine theme. The peatiest in the series of four, Celestial offers a depth of flavor and maturity as is expected from this unprecedented series or historical recreations. Tasting notes from the whisky maker: "Heavyweight peat smoke, that starts on beach bonfire and builds to coastal smokehouse. Behind that is a gingery richness, vanilla, and grilled apples. The palate is dry and oak forward, with meaty smokiness flowing into cooked tropical fruits.
