2018 Franck Bonville "Pur Mesnil" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne

This is part of a trio of wines from Franck Bonville just begging to be opened as a vertical, along with the Pur Avize and Pur Oger. Thankfully, I had the luxury to experience such a tasting. This one coming from the Grand Cru vineyard of Mesnil. The bubbles here are very fine and the fruit is lovely. There's also the citrus and minerality one would expect, given where it's coming from. There is a lot going on here, but it is all masterfully tied together with grace. This is an elegant, complex glass of bubbles!
