Reviewed June 2025Note: from replanted vines that are 10+ years of age. A more floral-suffused nose is slightly riper with its aromas of pear and apple compote, spice and lemon zest. The succulent, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess better volume while offering a more refined texture on the balanced and lingering finish. This is a wine that is sufficiently pliant that it could be enjoyed young or with 4 to 7 years of keeping.

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "François Frères Troncais barrels, from ‘haute gamme’ – 30% new barrels, the rest 1-3 years old. Whereas the bourgognes are all old barrels up to 8 years old. Not as wide but there’s more precision to this citrus. Wide with a hint extra minerality and fluidity. This is very Meursault in the finish with a faint, lingering spice. Yum…"(09/2024)
