Reviewed March 2025Distinctive and fragrant, with lemongrass, lemon verbena and sweetgrass notes complementing the Meyer lemon, yuzu and apple flavors at the core. Whiffs of honeysuckle, orange zest, litsea oil and candied ginger linger on the long, expressive finish. (MW)

Clean, bright and focused, this wine offers loads of grapefruit, fresh grass and jalapeño aromas on the nose. The palate gives plush citrus flavors of lemon, lime and pomelo. You've got to love the pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc at this price point. *Best Buy* (TC)

Bottled under screwcap, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley is a silver green-tinged color, and is bright with notes of pithy citrus, grassy herbs, tropical flowers, and mango peel. Medium-bodied, it has good freshness and a ripe feel, with a pithy texture and a clean finish. It's perfect for youthful drinking. (AF)

Quivira has long been a stalwart producer of bright, fresh, impeccably made Dry Creek wines. This estate was a leader in organic and Biodynamic farming and has long made excellent wines with lots of character and vibrancy. I was recently offered a really excellent price on this 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. I was already stocking the wine at our typical $20 price point, and believe it's a great bottle of wine at that. However, when it became possible to offer this wine out at $14.95 - I knew I had to load up for Spring / Summer. Sauvignon Blanc has been on a tear recently gaining market share as many folks continue looking for crisp, dry, refreshing wines. This beauty from Quivira is the perfect bottle to buy by the case and have around all summer. Made with a big portion of CCOF organically certified estate grown fruit, plus small lots from other like-minded neighbors and growers. The wine is partially fermented in large format, neutral wood casks made of Acacia. The other portion is kept in stainless steel to preserve aromatic intensity and focus.
The wine is bursting with wildflowers, yellow fruits, and tangy lemon curd underscored by river gravel minerals. It's delicious with a lovely combination of aromatic intensity, juicy mouthwatering fruit and complex textural and mineral elements that mean it drinks well beyond this everyday price point. Don't be shy, grab few, you'll be thankful you did!

Bright gooseberry and grapefruit rapidly give way to sweet peaches and fleshy nectarines, the nose is so aromatic it just pops out of the glass, giving you a playful little slap right in your nosebuds. The palate is absolutely classic, with pithy grapefruit and lemon mixed about with more peach and apricots. An absolute delicious little banger of a wine that you might want to get in your fridge for when the days get a little warmer than average. It's a super tasty wine and definitely would go best with some goat cheese or just a sunbeam right in your face.
