Eric Guido of Vinous writes: "The Battistelle Soaves have stood out in tastings over the last few years for their combination of expressive floral aromatics, mineral intensity and verve. The family-run winery is situated in the heart of Soave Classico in the small town of Brognoligo di Monforte d’Alpone. All of the vineyards, totaling eleven hectares, are located no more than one kilometer away from the winery and are comprised of many small parcels with drastically different soil types. Garganega is the sole focus at this address, used to create a portfolio of sight-specific and terroir-driven wines."
