This wine is rich garnet-hued, aromas of red plums, red raspberry, brûléed brown sugar, clove spiced oranges on the nose. The midpalate continues with flavors of red stone fruit, huckleberry, baking spices stirring in dried herbs finishing with silky vanilla cream morphing into mulled spices and grippy tannins. Pair

Notes
Named for the 2,600+ft elevation of the estate (the highest in the Mayacamas Range) the Half Mile bottling is a winemaker blend of top barrels from the highest blocks on the vineyard to showcase the power and richness of volcanic mountain-grown fruit. The 2021 represents the top selection of Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate blended with 14% Petit Verdot, and 6% Petite Sirah. Aged in top notch Hungarian oak from the family's own cooperage - Kádár.
