Reviewed June 2022Very fresh and zesty for a 2018 vintage dry riesling, this makes me think of sitting in the sun on one of the first warm spring days. In spite of the wine’s impressive brightness, there’s no feeling of warmth. In fact, the long, mineral finish is cool and slightly austere. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Tart lemon-zest aromas are rounded out by sweet Bosc pear ones, with wet granite as a backing note. This wine is smooth and weighty, shot through with ripping lemon acidity as well as some soft, powdery floral notes. The finish is long and refreshing. (LS)
