This super easy-drinking red, that is also a fantastic bargain, is fruit-forward with dark raspberry fruit, red boysenberry, light pepper. Very smooth and completely fine to drink (and enjoy!) on its own.
Notes
Mas Karolina is the project of Caroline Bonville, cousin of Olivier Bonville proprietor of one of our favorite Champagne houses Franck Bonville. Caroline originally hails from Bordeaux where much of her family still resides. Looking for her own property, she settled in the village of Maury located in the Roussillon. There, her restrained sensibilities are making some of the most pristine, clean and balanced wines in the region. (Keith Mabry, K&L Rhône buyer)
