2016 Buselli Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

The Buselli Estate Oakville Cab is the definition of a hidden gem! After arriving in San Franciso in 1961, Italian immigrants Rosalia and Italo Buselli bought a small plot of land in the eastern hills of Oakville in 1988. In 1990 they planted 4 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is directly adjacent to Rudd Estate and also neighbors Dalla Valle, David Ramey's Pedregal Vineyard and Tierra Roja Vineyard. It's about as prime of a location as one could wish for in Napa Valley. For several decades the Buselli family farmed their vines and continued supplying their pristine fruit to top producers in the area. However about 10 years ago, Rosalia and Italo's grandchildren Maria and Tony decided to explore making some wine under their own label with the help of renowned winemaker Tim Milos (Immortal Estate / Hidden Ridge, Haber Family, Stewart, Cliff Lede).
