Reviewed September 2023The 2020 Barbaresco Asili is one of the most beautiful, pure wines I have ever tasted from Ca' del Baio. Lifted aromatics and bright red-toned fruits are classic Asili signatures. The tannins will need a bit of time to soften, but all the elements are impeccably balanced. This is impressive stuff, and a gorgeous wine.

Notes of spiced cherries and dried wild strawberries with dried rosemary, lilac and bark. Medium- to full-bodied with a firm grip of velvety tannins and juicy acidity coming through. Attractive notes of cherries and dried herbs mixed with citrus peel. Vibrant. Try from 2025.
