The initial richness and lush mouthfeel of this St. Aubin includes some very nice rounded oak (not overdone), spice and back of the tongue citrus, soft lemon and orange. It has a longish finish that lingers with fresh oaky notes and lemon cream. This wine will be perfect with a nicely spicy chicken or fish dish. Even with a pork roast with apricot and dates. Perfect for a long winter night.

While Domaine Sylvain Langoureau may not be a household name, we anticipate it will become the go-to producer for those who enjoy artfully crafted wines that combine a pronounced citrus element with crisp acidity and a touch of minerality. This family-run estate does everything by hand, is committed to low yields, and focuses on conveying each site's distinctive terroir.
