2021 Adelina Shiraz Clare Valley South Australia

This 2021 Shiraz is a light, spicy, floral rendition of Clare Valley Shiraz, imbued with a tannic backbone that brings moreishness and chew to the finish. On the nose (and, later, in the mouth), the wine is resplendent with lavender, raspberry pip, fennel flower, red licorice and jasmine tea. The tannins that flow through it are spicy and salty, and they throw the pretty fruit into relief. Gorgeous, supple, pliable wine here. A pleasure.
