Reviewed January 2023Having spent time in a 15-year-old wooden vat, there's certainly no evident new oak on this
gracious Grand Cru. However, there is a delightful silkiness that results on the mid-palate.
Its nose is a bit shy now, but the palate is more animated with yellow currants, rhubarb,
lemon pith and crushed water crackers. Crisp and alluring, this is tasty now but will become

Subtle but not imperceptible wood influence surrounds the elegant, cool and layered aromas of oyster shell, green fruit, lemon-lime and ocean breeze. There is outstanding punch and delineation to the larger-scaled yet still refined medium-bodied flavors that possess an attractive mid-palate succulence that contrasts with the powerful, focused and lingering finale. This will need to develop more depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range though it's already quite good. *Sweet Spot*
