Burghound
Reviewed June 2016A ripe and ultra-fresh nose is comprised by a well-layered mix of white orchard fruit, in particular pear and white peach, along with smoky hints of mineral-reduction, citrus and sandalwood nuances. There is excellent volume to the caressing yet intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that conclude in a wonderfully persistent finish of crystalline purity. This highly refined and very classy effort should drink well both young and with age. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*

Wine Advocate
The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru les Caillerets has a pretty, limestone-driven bouquet that opens in the glass, showing a little more nuance than the other 2013 premier cru Pulignys at this moment. The palate is very well balanced with finely tuned acidity. Henri Boillot compared it to a Chevalier-Montrachet on the finish, and I can see where he is coming from. Superb. (NM)

Vinous
Subdued nose hints at orange oil, peach and hazelnut. Rich, fat and tactile, with peach and mineral flavors joined by vanilla and spice oak tones (actually 65% new oak here). A bit blocked by CO2 today but this wine does not seem to be as complex as the last couple samples. (ST)
