Wine Advocate
Reviewed June 2015A seductive style of wine in 2005, this Peyrabon has a deep ruby/purple color and round, juicy blackcurrant and black cherry fruit along with some licorice and floral notes. It is medium-bodied, surprisingly silky and concentrated. (RP)
Notes
Château Peyrabon is based in Saint-Sauveur, just inland from Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. This 2005 red bears the Haut-Médoc appellation, which covers vineyards in the southern Médoc along the Gironde estuary—a geographical link to one of Bordeaux’s historic red-wine districts.
