Reviewed June 2021Dark red with garnet hues. This is fresh and lively with blackcurrant and plum to the fore, spice from oak maturation later, and in complete balance. Tannins are ripe and fruit based too, infusing a nice cherry pip character to the medium-bodied flow of the wine. Drink now or hold for the medium term. (DB)

Middling red in colour with a purplish touch, this is an honest, easy-drinking, wonderfully old-fashioned shiraz, with a nose of raspberries, earth, sweet spice and a meaty touch. It's medium in body with good flavour intensity, tangy balance, and a long, easy finish. History in a bottle at a good price. Bravo

Bright ruby-red. Smoke- and earth-tinged cherry and dark berries on the nose, along with hints of baking spices and botanical herbs. Smoothly blends sweet and savory qualities, offering bitter cherry, dark berry and licorice flavors and a touch of smoked meat. Finishes smooth and long, with gentle tannins and a repeating cherry note. (JR)
