Full red. Deeply perfumed aromas of black raspberry and cherry cola are complemented by hints of candied lavender and star anise. Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering juicy dark berry and bitter cherry flavors and a suggestion of spicecake. Becomes sweeter and more energetic on an impressively long, supple finish that features supple tannins and an emphatic floral pastille quality. (JR)
