These wines are always such a pleasure to drink. Cherry blossoms and underbrush on the nose. Ripe cherry and juicy cranberry give way to flavors of deep earth and subtle spice. The finish is long and satisfying. Exquisite wine for a reasonable price.
Notes
The Girardin family has been cultivating vineyards for 13 generations and acquired the Château de la Charrière in 2003. Winery note: "Ruby red color. The nose is fruity. The mouth is well-balanced with a good and balanced tannic structure."
