Reviewed April 2008This is the finest Franc Mayne I have ever tasted. An opaque, deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by exotic, jammy blackberry/cassis aromas intertwined with coffee, melted licorice, and an herbaceous component This full-bodied effort is relatively approachable for a 2005, very well-endowed, opulent, spicy, and long. It is unquestionably a sleeper of the vintage. (RP)
