Reviewed December 2017With a high percentage (67%) of Chardonnay in the blend, this is a crisp and steely wine. It has a fine elegant balance between acidity and the texture, giving delicious red fruits their place. The wine is definitely more of a food Champagne. Drink now. (RV)

This lovely Brut Rose has a rose petal and bright cherry nose. It is clean on the palate with bright raspberry and Bing cherry fruit. Very long finish with lingering acidity and minerality.
Notes
All of the "Authentique" range from Le Brun de Neuville comes exclusively from Bethon in the Sezanne, and is aged on the lees on a cork rather than a crown cap. This is kept for three years on the lees and is composed of 67% Chardonnay and 23% Pinot Noir, of which 17% is red wine to give the Champagne its rosé color and flavor. It benefits from 5% of oak aged wines and over 1/3 reserve wines.
