Burghound
Reviewed June 2010 *Sweet Spot, Outstanding* An unusually elegant and restrained nose that is both airy and orchard fruit-based leads to rich, full, naturally sweet and attractively fleshy flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration and better detail than one typically finds in Morgeot, all wrapped in a dry, citrusy and palate staining finish. As attractive as those attributes are however, what really distinguishes the '08 version of Germain's Morgeot is the level of complexity. Worth considering.

Vinous
Germain's 2008 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot is rich and ample, very much in the style of Morgeot. The brushstrokes are broad, with more emphasis on texture than precision. (AG)

Decanter
Sweet oaky coconut nose, very bright and fresh. Plump, full-bodied, and assertive, concentrated and spicy; firm acidity gives grip, tanginess, and fine length. 17.5-18/20 points

Neat, intense, introvert, competent nose. No fighting against the vintage here. Delicate. Very nice light touch.
