Moet & Chandon Grand Cru 'Les Vignes de Saran' Brut Champagne
This item is out of stock, would you like to save it and be notified when it's back?
This is one of the rarest releases from Champagne giant Moet & Chandon. It is a single village (Chouilly), single vineyard (Les Vignes de Saran) wine made entirely from one varietal (Chardonnay). It is mostly 1996 with some '97 and '98 as well. Only 235 bottles were imported into the USA! It is part of a three-bottle set made to show off the three main grapes (Chardonnay, Meunier and Pinot Noir) and three Grand Cru villages individually. We decided to break up the three packs so that our customers could choose one, two or all three of the set. This blanc de blancs is big and rich, showing off the terroir of Chouilly, the village that makes the fattest Chardonnay on the Cotes de Blancs. It is very toasty and clearly in the Moet style. -Gary Westby, K&L
