Soft and elegant tannin from this aromatically earthy Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
This unpretentious vin d' assemblage of 80% Mouvedre and 20% Grenache is ideal for the Fall. It is an excellent medium to full-body red ready to be drunk now. Cheers!

Châteauneuf-du-Pape was among the first French wine appellations officially recognized in 1936, a landmark in France’s system of protected wine origins. The 2022 K&L Discovery Series red blend comes from this historic southern Rhône appellation, whose name—“the pope’s new castle”—recalls its medieval ties to the Avignon papacy.
