The long finish is carried by a positive hint of bitterness. Pinot noir dominates the blend, of which 14% was red wine made specifically for this product. Drink or hold.

Restrained, focused, elegant. A fragrant depth of red fruit and a suave, slightly creamy texture that reflects its long lees ageing, and it's supported by zesty acidity that carries the flavours on the finish.

The 2012 Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is composed of 51% Pinot Noir 34% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier, using 13% of the Pinot Noir for color. The sourdough toast on the nose is married to some very nice savory cherry fruit in the mouth, and the dry finish is super vibrant, refreshing and chalky. A great vintage! -Gary Westby, K&L
