The 2016 Barolo Vignarionda is an alluring beauty. Macerated cherry, rose petal, mint, blood orange and pomegranate all run through this exotic, arrestingly beautiful Barolo. The 2016 is dense, wonderfully perfumed and just striking Finesse and power come together beautifully, showing all the pedigree of this site. (AG)

Ripe cherry and floral aromas and flavors hold court in this light-weight yet dense red. Tar, tobacco, white pepper and eucalyptus accents add depth as the tightly wound tannins flash on the lingering aftertaste. Never flamboyant, this is expressive and harmonious. (BS)
