1964 Glen Moray 27 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 750ml

The 1964 vintage 27-year-old bottling from Speyside's Glen Moray distillery is a true insider's rarity. Since 1987, they've been producing hand-crafted single malt whiskys using only local barley (from a farm which they also own) and the pure waters of the River Lossie. This is an impeccably aged Glen Moray, distilled in 1964 and bottled as a 27-year-old in 1991. It exudes deep orange and tangerine elements, along with a honeyed beeswax note that leads into an uplifted finish of tropical fruit and pear. A slight vein of peppery oak sneaks in at the end. It's a beautifully evolved old dram.
