St. George Spirits was founded in 1982 and have grown from a dedicated eau de vie distillery into a diverse operation that makes a range of craft spirits. Producer note: "Botanivore, our 'botanical eater,' is comprised of 19 different botanicals working in concert. Think of a meadow in bloom — herbaceous, fresh, and elegant. What’s in it? Count with us... angelica root, bay laurel, bergamot peel, black peppercorn, caraway, cardamom, cilantro, cinnamon, citra hops, coriander, dill seed, fennel seed, ginger, juniper berries, lemon peel, lime peel, orris root, Seville orange peel, star anise!"

There seems to always be something exciting and delicious coming from the people at St. George. The Bontanivore is a lovely and aromatic offering. It is complex with layers of enticing aromas but is not light or flavorless. If I had to choose a word for this gin it would "elegant". I would also add delicious.
