Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru (96BH, 95RP, 95WS, 94JG, 93VN). Burghound: "A wonderfully complex, spicy and elegant nose features nuances of sous-bois, dried flowers and wet stone. The immensely concentrated and intense mineral-suffused flavors possess the same excellent complexity and a simply gorgeous mouth feel, all wrapped in a sappy, palate staining and strikingly long finale. A classic Chevalier. " (04/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes (97BH, 97VN, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "The 1993 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru was a real surprise given that I have meted out criticism for the wines from this era. It has a mesmerizing nose with wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petal scents that feel youthful and exuberant. The palate is fleshy and beautifully balanced, supple and has delightful, seductive rondeur. It crescendos towards the finish that is armed with killer delineation, completing perhaps the best Musigny that de Vogüé oversaw that decade. (NM)" (03/2023)

Bid on this bottle of 1993 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Amoureuses" (96DC, 94VN, 94WS, 92BH). Decanter: "Produced from the domaine's half-hectare in Amoureuses, most of which is located in the southern edge of the appellation, nestled next to Musigny. It seems that extraction in the '90s used more punching down than is the case today, but the winemaker from 1985 to 2020 was Francois MIllet. This seems to me a bit more reserved than modern vintages of Amoureuses, with a correct plummy fruit and lovely nuance from notes of liquorice, smoke, gunflint, and cedar. The wine still shows a youthful side but was developing nicely and should continue to do so for some time. (CC)" (12/2021)

Bid on this magnum of 1993 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Smoky, toasty flavors and firm tannins almost mask the pretty berry tones that emerge gradually in the glass, growing polished and almost plush. Needs some time..." (08/1997)

Bid on this 1-500 ml bottle lot of 1993 Château Pajzos Tokaji Esszencia (500ml) (99WS). Wine Spectator: One of the world's finest dessert wines. Sensational, ultrasweet Tokay, yet with a lovely citrus underpinning that keeps it from being heavy. Like melted honey, with lime and pineapple, this is one of those marvelous gems that makes you swoon in delight. Tempting now into the 21st century. A collector's item to drink in small portions, by itself, to celebrate life. *Ranked #3 in Top 100 Wines of 1998* (PM) (12/1997)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1993 Domaine Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" (94WS, 90RP). 94 points Wine Spectator: "Supple, ripe and generous with its plum and currant flavors, hinting at coffee and spice on a velvety texture. Has impressive length and well-integrated tannins." (05/98) 90 points Robert Parker: "The outstanding Vosne-Romanee Les Beaumonts exhibits an exquisite deep purple/black color. Tannic, backward, powerful, rich, and dense, this superbly-concentrated, impressively-endowed wine is in need of 6-8 years of cellaring. Grivot's 1993s raise few questions as to whether the fruit will be present when the wines reach their apogees. Among the most profoundly colored wines of the vintage, they all possess opaque, saturated purple/black robes. None of Grivot's 1993s were fined, but they were bottled with a light polishing filtration." (08/95)

Bid on this bottle of 1993 Vaghi Vintage Bas Armagnac in original wood. Vaghi Armagnac is an independent bottler dedicated to preserving the individuality and quiet grandeur of Armagnac. Rather than distilling itself, Vaghi curates exceptional casks from traditional, often family-run producers, releasing them with minimal intervention to preserve their natural character. The focus is on single-cask, vintage-dated Armagnacs, frequently bottled at natural strength and presented with clear, transparent labeling. Shaped by traditional distillation and long maturation in oak, these spirits evolve from vibrant eaux-de-vie into layered, harmonious expressions marked by fruit, spice, and depth rather than weight. Spanning nearly a century of distillation, this library offers a rare perspective on Armagnac through individual vintages—each bottle a singular, unrepeatable record of time, place, and tradition.

Cask #8004 was distilled on October 8, 1993, matured for 31 years in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, and bottled in 2024 at 54.3% ABV. Only an estimated 707 bottles were produced. This is an especially fruit-driven old GlenDronach, with blackcurrant jam, caramelized walnuts, orange marmalade, mulled wine, and berry tart emerging from the glass. The palate combines ginger-spiced plum, orange rind, roasted walnut, and crème de cassis before a finish of ground walnut, dried grape, and caramel liqueur. The sweetness of the PX cask is balanced by mature spice, citrus bitterness, and beautifully integrated oak, resulting in a complex and remarkably complete 31-year-old Highland malt.
