Bid on this bottle of 1991 Patrick Jasmin Côte-Rôtie. Wine Advocate: "Deeper-colored than either the 1990 or 1989 (one has to go back to 1988 to find this intensity of color), Jasmin's 1991 exhibits sweet currant, cherry, and raspberry fruit in its fragrant aromatics. High acidity on the palate is perplexing, but the wine possesses good body, extraction, and ripeness... (RP, The Rhône Book)" (12/1996)

Bid on this bottle of 1991 M. Chapoutier "La Mordorée" Côte-Rôtie (100RP). Wine Advocate: "In the same class as the great single-vineyard Côte Rôties made by Marcel Guigal (i.e., La Mouline, La Turque, and La Landonne), La Mordorée is most akin to La Mouline in its seductive, otherworldly fragrance and layers of sweet, expansive, velvety-textured fruit. There were 400 cases made of this saturated purple-colored wine. Its huge bouquet and spectacularly rich, layered personality offer an astonishing example of what low yields from a naturally farmed vineyard and an unfined, unfiltered winemaking philosophy can achieve. Bid on this bottle of 1991 Domaine Emmanuel Rouget Echézeaux Grand Cru (92BH). Burghound: "An elegant, spicy, moderately earthy and now fully mature nose leads to detailed and still reasonably precise, pure and rich flavors with a subtle touch of wood in evidence on the nicely complex, sappy, long finish. This is really quite lovely and a wine that is drinking perfectly now. I have noticed over the past few years that this has become somewhat soft on the backend and I would suggest drinking up over the next 5 years as this has definitely peaked. Consistent notes." Bid on this bottle of 1991 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg Grand Cru (95BH). Burghound: "While the color is lightening at the rim there is no bricking. The expressive and beautifully elegant nose of spice, dried flowers, earth and sandalwood retains a lovely sense of freshness. This freshness and vibrancy can also be found on the intense, delineated and mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors that terminate in a highly complex and strikingly persistent finish. While there is still some firmness to the supporting tannins this feels as though it has just arrived at its peak though it should be capable of holding at this level for many more years to come. Tasted on multiple occasions in the past few years with largely consistent results though I have come across a few examples with curiously advanced colors and aromas that are almost certainly due to less than pristine storage; in addition I have experienced one bottle that evidenced noticeable brett."
