Talking about which, the NV Tio Pepe Fino is an icon of Sherry wine. Produced from Palomino grapes aged in the Tio Pepe solera for an average of four years under flor. It has a light nose of dried flowers, almonds and olives, in a subtle way and a dry palate dominated by the chalky notes. Light and easy to drink, it is a good introduction to Fino Sherry. (LG)

Shows a rounded edge for a fino, with blanched almond and white peach notes, laced with a fleur de sel accent. Bitter almond notes give the finish good tension. (JM)
Notes
This is a dry, pleasantly salty Fino Sherry and very tasty with tapas, particularly those with a seafood theme. Freshly grilled sardines, anyone?
