Hampden Estate 5 Year Old "LROK - The Younger" Old Pure Single Jamaican Rum (3L)

Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica’s most important historic rum distilleries, producing distinctive pot still rum in Trelawny Parish since the 18th century. Its reputation rests on traditional fermentation methods and a collection of individual marks, each representing a particular style of distillate and range of ester concentrations. The LROK mark, short for Light Rum Owen Kelly, was created in 1952 and sits between 200 and 400 grams of esters per hectoliter of pure alcohol. Although relatively light by Hampden’s standards, it remains a richly aromatic example of Jamaican pot still rum. The Younger is produced entirely from the LROK mark and aged for five years in Jamaica’s tropical climate. This unusual three-liter flagon contains four times the volume of a standard 750ml bottle and is bottled at 47% ABV.
