Flor de Luna’s Licor de Ponche Navideño draws on the Mexican holiday punch associated with Christmas posadas and family gatherings. The distillery, founded by Hillhamn Salome, translates this fruit-and-spice preparation into a liqueur through the maceration of traditional ingredients in cane spirit. Yellow apples, guava, cinnamon, raisins, tamarind, tejocote, and hibiscus are steeped in the spirit, which is then sweetened with raw sugarcane.
