2019 Domaine de Baal Red Bekaa Valley Lebanon

At 1200 meters high, located between the Mount-Lebanon mountains, and the magnificent Bekaa Valley, Domaine de Baal has been prospering since the first plantations in 1994. In 2006, after spending many years in Saint-Emilion, Sebastien Khoury the owner and winemaker of Domaine de Baal, came back to Lebanon and started building the winery and made the first vintage of the estate. The Domaine wine is a blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah. The wine is fermented with native yeasts and ages for 16 to 18 months in a mix of new and used oak barrels. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered and with minimal sulfite additions.
