Italesse "Vinocchio" (1.5L) Decanter with Clear Base

The Vinocchio is a showpiece decanter from Italesse, the Trieste-based glassware house known for its professional stemware. Designer Federico Venier made it from mouth-blown glass: a round bowl with a long, angled neck that sits tilted in a clear, square acrylic base. The tilted bowl gives the wine a large surface area, so young or structured reds open up quickly. The long neck makes pouring easy and controlled. It holds 1.5 liters, enough for a standard 750 ml bottle with plenty of room to breathe, or a magnum for the table. It's a working decanter for Barolo, Brunello, Bordeaux or any red that needs air, and the sculptural shape looks just as good on the table. Hand wash recommended.
