Condrieu is the northern Rhône’s appellation devoted exclusively to white wines made from Viognier. Its vineyards occupy steep slopes along the Rhône, with granite a defining feature of the terrain. Julien Pilon’s 2015 “Vernon” comes from this small, geographically distinctive corner of the valley.
