Reviewed June 2018The 2016 Red August is a tasty Syrah/Grenache-based red. Broad and expressive on the palate, with a good bit of whole cluster aromatic lift, the 2016 has a lot going on. Wild flowers, sage, mint and licorice add freshness to a core of red and purplish berry fruit. (AG)
