Reviewed February 2025A restrained and precise wine with high fruit definition and fresh style. Red currants, red cherries, fresh violets, licorice and earth on the nose. Medium-bodied with precise velvety tannins, crisp yet integrated acidity and savory length. Chalky texture in the finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. (AF)

Shot through with iron and tobacco notes, this red also reveals plum, black cherry, blackberry, licorice and wild herb flavors. Tightly wound and dense, with ample fruit and tar gracing the lingering finish. This could still use a bit more time. Best from 2027 through 2038. (BS)
