Cornas is one of the northern Rhône’s appellations devoted exclusively to red wine made from Syrah. Its vineyards occupy steep, largely granite slopes on the Rhône’s western bank. Guy Farge’s 2022 “Reynard” comes from this geographically compact appellation, just south of Saint-Joseph.
