Reviewed June 2011Inky purple. Intense black and blue fruit aromas are augmented by violet, vanilla and smoky herbs. Broad, palate-staining dark fruit compote flavors become brighter with air and show a smoky, spicy character. Finishes with sweet, juicy persistence and repeats the floral and vanilla notes.
