Notes
This highly unusual and exceptional cask of Willett was selected by the K&L Buying team in Spring of 2025 and bottled without chillfiltration or additions of any kind at a full cask strength of 61.8% alc by vol. This special rare mashbill is only produced in hyper limited quantities and produces one of the most delicious young bourbons we've ever tasted from the legendary Bardstown distillery. The Binder's Stash brand was started by Bill Binder and Drew Stoddard, two gentlemen who have managed to make their mark on the bourbon industry in an extremely short period of time. It may seem like a gamble to start a new whiskey brand in the current market, but when you're able to source the very best of the best, product that literally no one else in the world (even Willett) are bottling, we call that betting the chalk. Even a standard barrel of Willett 7 year will cost you $100+ more than this if you're lucky these days and most retailers feel very comfortable charging above those prices. This incredible four grain bourbon is a blend of 55% Corn, 12% Wheat, 18% Rye, and 15% Malted Barley. The richness and character of the Rye is perfectly balanced by the sweet oaky complexity of a nicely matured wheater. A truly unique expression that over delivers on every metric when compared to contemporary bottlings of a similar quality level. Only 128 bottles were drawn from this exceptional cask and sold exclusively at K&L Wine Merchants.
