Aromas of ripe strawberry, crushed sage and fresh mint. Medium-bodied with nicely ripened red fruit. Slightly floral. Creamy tannins. Pretty. Sustainable.

Vinous

Vivid ruby. Ripe, spice-tinged red and blue fruits, savory herbs, licorice and a hint of candied rose on the assertively perfumed nose. Gently chewy and precise on the palate, offering sweet cherry and black raspberry flavors that reveal hints of smokiness and baking spices as the wine opens up. Finishes long and sappy, with solid thrust, building tannins and resonating floral pastille and cherry notes. (JR)

Tart raspberry fruit quickly turns astringent as it fades into the lingering tannins. There's a touch of açai berry juice as well, and a mix of herbal components. The astringency is a bit overpowering at this young age, so further cellaring is recommended. (PG)
