2021 Vespa "Raccontami" Primitivo di Manduria

Raccontami is Vespa’s Primitivo di Manduria, a wine closely tied to the family’s decision to establish a winery in southern Puglia. Bruno Vespa and his sons founded the estate in 2014 at Masseria Li Reni in Manduria, restoring a 16th-century property and working with winemaker Riccardo Cotarella. The producer presents Raccontami as the account of that family journey, with Primitivo as its focus. This 2021 carries the Primitivo di Manduria DOC designation. Vespa recommends the cuvée with substantial meat dishes and suggests serving it at 14–16°C, a useful starting point for bringing this Manduria red to the table.
