I love a wine that's easy to love, and this is absolutely one of them. True to form, Lucien Lardy's 2024 Fleurie is wonderfully aromatic and floral on the nose, and on the palate, has a purity of fruit and wonderful energy that makes it oh-so-loveable, and oh-so-crushable. Throw a light chill on this, or serve it up for Thanksgiving!

Fleurie is one of Beaujolais’ ten cru appellations, each centered on a distinguished growing area in the region’s north. Lucien Lardy’s 2024 “Les Roches” is a red wine made from Gamay under the Fleurie designation, placing it within this more geographically specific tier of Beaujolais.
