Côte de Léchet is a Chablis Premier Cru climat on the left bank of the Serein, near the hamlet of Milly. Its slopes lie on the Kimmeridgian limestone and marl associated with Chablis’ vineyard landscape. Domaine Daniel-Etienne Defaix’s 2013 bottling is produced entirely from Chardonnay, the appellation’s sole permitted grape.
