Reviewed September 2023The 2021 Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley) is a gorgeous wine that immediately announces the pedigree of the vintage. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, cinnamon and rose petal open first, framed by silky tannins that lead into the persistent, nuanced finish. This is seriously impressive, especially with aeration. Exotic spiced overtones linger. (AG)

A deep ruby color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is expressive and lush with aromas of black cherry, alpine herbs, tea leaf, and menthol. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with juicy fruit and fine tannins, with a notable, savory, mouthwatering, salty touch throughout. It is drinking well now and will be best over the coming 5-6 years. (AF)
