Reviewed January 2024The attractive green apple and lemon peel fruit aromas of the white Hautes-Côtes are complemented by notes of linden flowers and underpinned with a salty mineral note. The texture is lively and fresh, with light body and crisp acidity but enough substance to linger pleasantly on the palate. The grapes from this hectare of vines above Nuits in Concœur were picked very late – 17 September, yet they still have marvellous tension. (CC)

Pale lemon colour, light bouquet and then a huge concentration of fruit behind, yellow plums but also saline, as the name sort of suggests. Long finish. Drink from 2024-2026.

The 2022 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc Cuvée Marine comes from a single plot and was raised in 500-liter demi-muids. The attractive nose offers apple blossom and a touch of lemon thyme. The palate is crisp on the entry with a pleasant sharpness, not complex per se, but there is a sapidity boding well for the near future.(NM)
