Uber-fine, concentrated and possessed of eminent balance, this 2021 864 Single Block Release Aqueduct Henk Pinot Noir is sleek and powerful. It has muscle in all the right places (primarily the finish, where it accelerates away) and restraint in all others. The tannins that shape the fruit in the mouth are whisper fine and curl and curve their way across the tongue. This is a beautiful wine with grace and poise.

This has a sophisticated and perfumed nose of dried roses, red cherries, strawberries, nutmeg and sweet spices. It’s medium-bodied with tight-grained tannins. Creamy, vibrant and subtly spicy. 20% whole bunch.
